“Contaminated Animal Feed” – Nutritional Roulette (part8)

Nutritional Roulette

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Contaminated Animal Feed

  • YES this is important
  • What livestock eat – you eat too!

Feed sources

  • GMO grains and corn : not as nutrient dense as non-GMO
  • Other feed sources are often indigestible by Cow stomachs or nutritionally void

Grains, Corn, Potatoes (and even candy!) used as feed

  • Increased pH levels in the cattle’s stomach
  • This leads to a health condition which requires the use of antibiotics

Antibiotic use in Chickens has been shown to increase Arsenic (and other metal) Toxicity

  • Non-organic sources of chicken having DOUBLE the concentration of toxic elements than that of chickens raised without antibiotics / hormones.

Unnatural Diets – Fish Farming

  • Wheat does not grow in the sea … so, obviously, fish should not be fed wheat. Makes sense.
  • But it is done anyway b/c some fish require lots of expensive feed (if they are to be fed a diet natural to them in the wild)
  1. 3 pounds of other (marketable) fish are needed to raise 1 lbs of Salmon

SUMMARY:

LOW QUALITY FEED FROM CROPS GROWN FROM NUTRITIONALLY VOID AND POTENTIALLY TOXIC SOILS

+

USE OF MANURE – THAT IS NUTRIENT VOID AND POTENTIALLY TOXIC – AS FERTILIZER

+

CONSUMPTION OF BOTH THESE PLANTS AND ANIMALS GROWN FROM POTENTIALLY TOXIC SOIL

=

A HUGE PROBLEM

> these animals that have been fed nothing but toxic crops grown from toxic soil – Literally everything in their system is nutritionally void!

The Question is – how do consumers at the top of this ‘empty’ food chain get any nutrients at all?

This is Why you need to be conscious of WHERE your food comes from, and PROCESSES by which they are made and sold.

“TOXIC FERTILIZERS” – Nutritional Roulette (prt2/8)

Nutritional Roulette

Toxic Elements in ‘Fertilizers’

“The greatest concern with concentrated livestock operations is not only the low-quality food that is produced by raising livestock animals under stressed condition to maximize space while providing inadequate nutritional inputs and unnatural dietary choices, but also, the biomagnification of toxins.”

– Mike Adams. *‘Food Forensics: the hidden toxins lurking in your food and how you can avoid them for lifelong health’. 2016. BenBella Books Inc.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Bio-Fertilizers

  • Cattle, Poultry and Swine (etc)
  • Their waste contains traces of ALL heavy metals
  • Which end up in ‘Bio’-fertilizers.

WHY?

  • B/C the Feed that is used is high in
    • heavy metals,
    • pesticides,
    • antibiotics,
    • Pharmaceutical compounds, artificial hormones, bacteria etc.

> All these Toxins ‘Bioaccumulate’ in the plants grown from toxic soil, in the animals that eat these plants, and finally into the humans that eat both:

  • Higher levels of toxins in those higher up in the food chain -> whose waste thus has the highest concentration of such toxins.
  • This waste then ironically gets used as fertilizer for crops for humans and in feed for animals.

Bio-Fertilizer Examples:

Sewage ‘Sludge’ is OK fertilizer (EPA, USCC, WEF) = ‘Biosolids’

[Banded in 1992]

“Long standing policy encourages the beneficial reuse and recycling of industrial wastes, including hazardous wastes, when such wastes can be used as safe and effective substitutes for virgin raw materials.” 1997. *U.S. Environment Protection Agency. U.S. Environment fact sheet: waste-derived fertilizers. Solid waste and emergency response. EPA530-F-97-053. Dec 1997, www.nepis.epa.gov/Exe/ZyPURL.cgi?Dockey=10000LTW.txt

“Dillo Dirt” (2016) – company from Austin Texas: Composed of human waste.

  • A ‘Biosolid’
  • Not for eatable vegetable gardens (in fine print) : but sold on same shelf as common garden compost.
    • Contains ALL heavy metal toxins
    • As well as Fungicides

= Shady Retail Practices
